Dr. Anthony D. Alfieri is a vein specialist serving Newark, New Castle County, and surrounding areas at the Delaware Advanced Vein Center. The accredited Center helps people resolve vein issues such as pain, varicose veins, spider veins, and skin discoloration. For 25 years, Dr. Alfieri practiced interventional cardiology, yet during that time, Dr. Alfieri noticed severe vein disease in many of his patients. Therefore, Dr. Alfieri set his sights on becoming an expert in Phlebology, the study of vein disease. Phlebology has been around for some time, yet new and innovative techniques to treat varicose veins are emerging.
